The Differences
Historically, the evergreen, tropical plant, Mitragyna speciosa, grew as it pleased in Kalimantan’s jungles. Trees could grow and mature for years before being harvested, resulting in high quality kratom with exceptional potency. This was a sustainable process at one time, but only until the demand for kratom increased.
Over time, kratom became more popular in Western countries and to provide for the supply chain, kratom plantations came to be. Now, Indonesian farmers have a welcome source of income by farming kratom in order to meet the needs of the kratom industry.
You can decide which type you want to invest in, since both these types carry benefits. Wild Kratom will always be of a higher grade, for one thing since its alkaloid levels are higher. But farmed kratom, that results in mid-grade products, can still offer excellent outcomes to users, although not as potent as wild kratom. Also, there’s the advantage of paying a little less. And if you’re an inexperienced kratom user that’s still building up your tolerance, the effects may be just what you need.
