If you’re using tinctures, effects typically kick in fastest within just 5-15 minutes when taken under the tongue. If you’re using capsules or powder to mix into a beverage, then effects will typically kick in within about 30-45 minutes. We recommend waiting at least one hour before increasing your dose to ensure you don’t experience the unwanted side effects that happen from taking too much! Please keep in mind that the effects will build up, so peak effects might not be felt up for up to 1-2 hours after ingestion.

If you’re new to kratom and you’re seeking a more moderate or subtle sense of relaxation, try Red Dragon or Red Maeng Da. However, if you’re a seasoned enthusiast and you seek strong sedation or a more intense kick of relaxation, try Red Borneo, Red Bali or Chocolate Bentuangie.

Some people love relaxing strains for daytime use, but it really depends on your individual tolerance to each strain. If you’re looking for a daytime option that’s perfect for relaxation, try a moderate option like Red Dragon or Red Maeng Da. Or, you may want to consider a hybrid strain with moderate effects such as Green Thai since many users prefer it as a daytime relaxant.
